Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide bags People’s Choice Award

QUEZON CITY, Philippines— The 22nd Peoples Choice Award chose Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide as the “Top Travel Guide Publication” for 2004 held recently at the AFP Theater in Quezon City.
Published by AdFokus, Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide was chosen from among a number of titles nominated for the citation based on the criteria of product features and quality; contribution to consumers and public service; public opinion and survey; and pricing.
Early this year, Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide was also cited by the National Consumer Affairs Foundation as “The Most Promising Travel Magazine” and The Asia Pacific Excellence Awards as the “Outstanding Travel Guide Publication” .This year, Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide already received three distinctions.

On October 2004, AdFokus will re-launch it’s 4th publication, MotorSports Review in possible tie-ups with Wheelers Club International (WCI) with more than 100,000 members all over the Philippines. “The publication will be given free to members of Wheelers Club International monthly in order to update them of the latest trend in the motoring industry and we are in the final stage to ink the agreement”, said Tandoc, who was formerly served as Vice President for operations and marketing in the late 80’s of WCI.
Just like Metro ARANGKADA, dubbed as “the Philippines’ first free-copy tabloid for motoring”, the bilingual, monthly publication covers the local motorcycle industry through news and information and become very successful in tying ups with A.A. ng TODAPIL (Tricycle Operators & Drivers all over the Philippines), Philippine Scooter Federation (about 5,000 strong members), Motortrade (No.1 motorcycle dealer) and Exponent Group (exclusive Jianshe dealers nationwide) .
