The main vectors of the biofuel industry development in Ukraine in 2012 will determine the Ukrainian Biofuel Forum
On 25-26 of April 2012 in Kiev (Premier Palace hotel) will take place the 4th Ukrainian Biofuel Forum - a key business event in sphere of solid biofuel (fuel briquettes and pellets), biomass, biogas and biofuel in Ukraine. Traditionally, this spring forum is an integral part of the business calendar of active and progressive players of the biofuel market in Ukraine.
For the fourth year the UBF forum will be the central business platform for the Ukrainian biofuel industry and one of the key events for the Eastern European biofuel market. Speakers at the Forum are traditionally the best industry experts, corporate executives, each of whom wrote their own story of success in the biofuel industry.
"In 2011 we saw a number of transformations on Ukrainian biofuel marker: while projects for the production of biofuel have entered a new stage of development, the development of the biogas industry in light of the President's veto on the "green" tariff was postponed. However, the most dynamic segment of development of pellet and briquette fuel faced with obstacles in the form of an acute shortage of raw materials and low demand for fuel because of the warm autumn and December. In Ukraine boilers and even heating plants have come into practice, work of which is based on the use of solid biofuel and biomass, and at the same time, factories are closing line for solid biofuels. In general, we are optimistic about the growth of biofuel industry in Ukraine in 2012, but to assess how successful will be a particular business project and indicators of the industry as a whole, going to the Ukrainian Biofuel Forum ", - said Vitaly Daviy, president of APEU - Association of Participants of the Market of Alternative Fuels and Energy of Ukraine.
In 2012, over 200 market participants from over 10 countries will gather to discuss the most contentious issues of the development of biofuel market in Ukraine, including:
- Reducing of fuel briquettes and pellets consumption in the EU in 2011 and proper ways of saving of the Ukrainian industry of solid biofuels from the crisis;
- How will the power balance at the European biofuel market change after the growth of supply of solid biofuel in the EU from Africa and Latin America?
- Eastern expansion: will the increase of solid biofuel supply from Russia to the EU verdict for other market participants?
How much does the European biofuel market need Ukrainian briquettes and pellets from agricultural waste?
- What are legal characteristics of the market will face Ukrainian biofuel producers in 2012?
- Why is the great number of factories producing solid biofuel built in Ukraine have been off the market?
- What is not usually mentioned by equipment suppliers: the main risks of constructing the production of briquettes and pellets?
- If the material does not "go" to the factory and go to the raw material: mobile production of solid biofuels as a way to increase liquidity biofuel project.
- How does Ukrainian market of biofuel heat production look like?
- How much you can earn in Ukraine, producing solid biofuel?
- Agricultural waste as a key raw material for production of heat in the rural areas, examples of successful projects.
- Why is it profitable to invest in projects and the production of biofuel? What can be brought by such efforts for domestic fuel market in Ukraine?
