“The Beautiful Power” by Flora Sofia teaches women and teenagers how to be empowered in today’s society by giving them tools to develop self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills that support them in overcoming challenging times.
Flora Sofia, a California based woman from an impoverished background in Brazil is teaching women and teens, individually, how to find in themselves the resources needed to succeed, after having successfully established a modeling and acting career herself here in the US.
It seems she is doing something right based on the amount of calls and clients she has received after introducing these individual programs.
“Our mentoring programs are for every woman from every background,” says Flora. “Women have many innate powers that are underutilized due to outside expectations and peer pressure. At The Beautiful Power, we teach girls and women to recognize and solidify their true values and then use them to surmount hurdles and have successful lives. The women we've mentored have become more confident, they are having better relationships with their significant others, with their families, and business associates.”
After obtaining a BA in Spanish Linguistics Flora moved from Brazil, where she taught Spanish, to the US where she became runner up Miss Brazil USA, an active and successful theater, film and TV commercial actor, as well as a model while overcoming many challenges on her notable life path.
“After learning different skills and applying them in my life I changed from having no understanding of self-esteem to thriving in one of the most challenging careers. Our goal is to have more women learn these skills and become successful at their personal and love lives and in their career of choice.”
