"OPERATION: FAIR GAME: STOP" PROTEST IN WASHINGTON, DC
Worldwide Protest Against the Scientology Fair Game Policy
Washington, D.C. – MAY 10, 2008 –The protestors against the “Church of Scientology” Fair Game policy will assemble at the DuPont Circle fountain at 11 AM before moving to the protest site in front of the “Church of Scientology” (1701 20th Street, N.W., Washington, DC). During this event, members of a loose collective called “Anonymous” will distribute informative fliers and promote educational websites. Dr. Boris Korczak and several members of “Anonymous” will be available to answer questions from the media and the public during and after the protest rally.
This is the fourth protest in as many months being promoted by a loose conglomeration of grassroots activists under the heading of "Anonymous". This international movement includes
ex-Scientologists, longtime cult researchers, and concerned citizens from all walks of life.
The worldwide protest on May 10th will focus specifically on Scientology's "Fair Game Policy", which states that persons or agencies that Scientology considers to be enemies may be: "…deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed."
Although Scientologists claim the Fair Game Law was cancelled in 1968, the text of the cancellation makes it clear that only the usage of the term "Fair Game" was canceled. There are many examples of Fair Game attacks being perpetrated by Scientology to this day.
Dr. Boris Korczak, a former access agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, will participate in the peaceful protest against the abusive policies of the “Church of Scientology” on Saturday morning May 10, 2008. Dr. Korczak survived an assassination attempt on U.S. soil in the 1980s. His assailant shot him with a tiny pellet laced with the deadly poison ricin.
