Pressbox (Press Release) - Singapore Expo is the venue host of the largest, most exciting, international furniture show in Singapore and South East Asia. The largest show in its 25 years history, International Furniture Fair Singapore 2008 / 25th ASEAN Furniture Show have increased its size to 7 halls (70,000 sqm) at Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre. The show has grown so successfully that it has expanded phenomenally at Singapore’s largest MICE venue. This year’s show spans from Halls 3 to 9.

When the show started using Singapore Expo in 1999, it occupied 2 halls. Over the last 10 years, IFFS/AFS has attained regional and international recognition as a top showcase and trading platform in Asia for global furniture players. Singapore Expo has been able to meet the growing and changing requirements of the show through the years, solving the one-venue needs by offering full flexibility for all exhibitions, conferences, seminars, receptions and breakout activities in one ideal location under one roof.

The Singapore Expo team also provides rigorous event planning services for IFFS/AFS through the expert resources to deliver the best for this international show.

Since announcing its new dates of 9 to 12 March 2008, the show has met with overwhelming response from exhibitors and visitors. All its booths spaces have been snapped up at the start of 2008 and visitor registration are also up 20 percent compared with the same period last year.

IFFS/AFS 2008 has received an overwhelming line-up of debut exhibitors making up about 26% of the show’s total exhibitors. These are Brema Marketing (Germany), Laura Ashley Outdoor (UK), Mimo Art Mobil (Egypt), Olori (Australia), Rason Home (Spain) to name just a few. Prominent buying groups are from Germany, Spain, Norway, Finland, Australia and others.
