AID-PACK announces its re-brand to RAJAPACK UK

Pressbox (Press Release) - Milton Keynes, UK, 22 August 2007: One of the UK’s leading mail order packaging companies, AID-PACK, has today announced its full affiliation into the fold of RAJA Group, the pan-European multi-channel packaging company. AIDPACK, which was acquired by RAJA Group in 1998, will now be rolling out the RAJAPACK brand nationwide.

RAJAPACK UK, which has 65 staff and a turnover of £9.5 million in 2006 will now fully assimilate into RAJA Group, which has 650 staff Europe-wide and a turnover of 185 million Euros. RAJA group, which incorporates RAJA operations in nine European countries including France, Germany and Benelux, boasts a stable of 430,000 customers in every vertical sector, from pharmaceutical and food, to logistics and manufacturing.

RAJA focuses on four major sales channels – catalogues, internet, telephone sales and direct sales. RAJA has 8000 products in its portfolio, spanning all areas of packaging, including: cartons; handling and storage equipment; polythene products; protective packaging; strapping and tapes.

RAJAPACK UK is quick to point out that the re-brand signals only positive benefits for its UK customers. John Taylor, RAJAPACK’s UK MD confirms: “The discernible difference for our UK customers will be the corporate re-brand and the use of the RAJAPACK name and logo. The full integration into RAJA Group means that we will be able to leverage the European organisation to improve what we are doing for our customers, improve our selection of products and enable us to price our products more competitively. Our continuing focus will be our approach to customer service – our timely response to customer demands, next working day delivery across the UK, professional packaging advice and our commitment to the best quality products.”
