So why change the lenses? A new prescription from your Optician, damaged or scratched lenses or maybe a change to reactions lenses?

Ciliaryblue now reglaze Varifocal and Bifocal lenses, opening the reglaze market to many more customers. This is a specialised service though as there are some very important measurements that need taken, to ensure the lenses are positioned perfectly in the frame.

They can put varifocals into frames that already have them in place, that way those important measurements can be taken from the existing lenses and replicated when the new lenses are reglazed. If you have a new frame the measurements can be taken from the old frames and applied to the new to ensure perfect positioning every time.

The saving over the equivalent High Street retailers is the same, massive! The process is similar too. With this type of complex lens though they didn’t want the order to be done online, but over the phone, so there is a strong personal touch. Once the order has been processed a pre-paid pre-addressed box is sent to the customer, so that the frame can be posted back in the correct packaging.

When the frame is received all measurements are confirmed the prescription verified, the lenses glazed, then sent back in the box that will go through most letter boxes. The frames can be refurbished too, to make them feel like new.

There are emails sent at each stage of the process, so the customer knows when the frames are received, glazed and when they are on their way back.
