“13th Annual “ Worldwide Weekend

Added: (Wed Apr 16 2003)

“13th Annual “Just Pray NO!” to Drugs
“Worldwide Weekend of Prayer & Fasting”

Since April 7th, 1991 “Just Pray NO!” Ltd. has sought to unite Christians from around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of the addicted and their families. The devastation of alcoholism and other drug addiction has impacted families and communities worldwide. Alcoholism and drug dependence are America's number one health problem. There are more deaths and disabilities each year in the U.S. from substance abuse than from any other cause. Not only has substance abuse been directly linked to violence and sexual immorality, but is also a major source of income for organized crime and terrorist activities. The “War on Drugs” directly impacts the “War on Terrorism!”

The weekend of April 26th – 27th, 2003 has been designated as the 13th Annual “Just Pray NO!” to drugs Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting. Steven L. Sherman is Founder and President of “Just Pray NO!” Ltd. This non-profit organization is a prayer and intercession ministry that has traveled in 23 languages to 118 countries. Today the “Just Pray NO!” Annual Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Unity has prayer partners and supporting churches ministering to the victims of drug and alcohol abuse in all 50 states and on six continents.

Make a formal commitment to join with believers in Christ from around the globe this coming April. Put on the full armor of God and fervently pray in spirit and in truth. We are seeking to enlist one million prayer warriors from around the world to join us in battle.
