Tuesday, March 28 - Jim and Joan Clarke will talk about their Johns Hopkins Medical Horror Story on

Added: (Sat Mar 25 2006)

Jim and Joan Clarke of Maryland will be sharing their Johns Hopkins Medical Horror Story on Internet Radio Program - The Vickie Travis Hour at highway2health.net and tropicwaveradio.net Tuesday evening, March 28.

Jim and Joan had it all. They had a farm outside of D.C. They had the cars, the upscale neighborhood, the American Dream and they had earned it by themselves. In the sudden beat of a major heart attack which began while Jim was in a Johns Hopkins ER room for kidney stones it was all taken away.

An EKG was ordered and it showed a massive heart attack was taking place. The doctor insisted that the pain was caused by kidney stones. He was sure of this because he is a cardiologist and he is an instructor of cardiology at Johns Hopkins.

The doctor ordered a lot pain medicine to mask what Jim and Joan were told was nothing more than radiating kidney stone pain.

The next day a urologist saw Jim and ordered another EKG. The records clearly show that it was no secret to the doctors, the nurses and the hospital that Jim had suffered a massive heart attack. They scheduled surgery to remove a kidney stone right away after these tests. Jim lived. They sent him home, still not telling him about his heart.

Jim never really got better over the next two months. Then he had another major heart attack. This time Joan drove him to another hospital and the doctors there told them the truth. The doctors at the new hospital also obtained the medical records from Johns Hopkins.

Those son of a guns knew about the heart problem all along according to the records and it appears they tried to keep it a secret as long as they could.

Jim is going to eventually need a heart transplant because of this lack of medical care from Johns Hopkins. He has since had several surgeries on his heart and he will not ever recover because of the damage.

So the farm, the house, the cars, the neighborhood, the American Dream is all gone today for Jim and Joan Clarke and that leading cardiologist over at Johns Hopkins has so far gotten away with what he did.

While this case putters through the court system for years Jim is not getting any better and Joan can't go out and work because she has to stay and care for him. Everything they had went to pay for medical care. Johns Hopkins isn't suffering at all.
