TitchyBabies.co.uk is for anyone, of any age any gender who is currently trying to conceive, pregnant, undergoing fertility treatment, a parent, dealing with a loss of any kind, breastfeeding, postnatal depression and depression, meet new mums and make friends, relax and have a laugh.
Titchy Babies has monthly competitions running with real prizes, articles in forums so members can get advice and information with a lot more to offer.
There is also a brand new section called Where Can I Go? Antenatal Classes, which helps parents as to where to take their children on trips and advice on antenatal classes in the region.
I quickly found with other parenting sites there were loads out there but none offered a personal touch, warmth, advice etc. Even the bigger name sites weren’t friendly. It just felt like they we’re there just because they could be, not there to make a difference (I am still finding this now). A few months later that’s when I decided to make Titchy Babies.
Since then Titchy Babies has grown and has been advertised by a few organisations including Sheffield Primary Care Trust newsletter dated August 2007, it is also on their Intranet. Titchy Babies has also recently been in the Yorkshire Post dated 2nd April 2008.
The site has also had a mention at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and The Royal College of Midwives journal.
Titchy Babies is designed to make a difference to people's lives, where you can come and chat to very friendly members, get advice and a lot more.
