Surrey Personal Trainer, Rick Kaselj, Shares 3 Tips To a Pain-Free Lower Back In 2009
Surrey, BC – Friday, January 2, 2008 – In the new year, we start thinking about losing the holiday pounds. Since most of us fail at weight loss, start the new year with a new attainable resolution, a pain-free back for 2009. Surrey Personal Trainer, Rick Kaselj, shares three simple tips for a pain-free back in 2009.
Within the last 3 months, 27% of adults would have suffered from low back pain. The pain these people suffered affected their work, sleep, comfort and fun. There are 3 tips you can add to your day to be pain in 2009.
3 Tips To a Pain-Free Lower Back In 2009:
Move Every 60 Minutes – Sitting puts more stress on your back than walking. The longer you sit, the more stress that builds up in your back. Taking a break to get up and walk, takes the pressure off you back and decreases your risk of back pain.
Stretch Out Throughout The Day – While you are waiting or on the phone, take a quick break to stretch out your legs. This will keep your leg muscles loose and decrease the pull from your leg muscles on your back. Get rid of this pull with decrease the pull on your back and lead to a pain free year.
Core Stability Exercise – Your core muscles are the muscles that support your back. I many people these muscles have a difficult time activating or lack the endurance to support our backs throughout they day. Whenever you move, these muscles activate and stabilize your back. If they lack the ability to activate or the endurance to protect your back through the day, it leads to back pain. Activating these muscles, as in the Core Stability of the Back book, will strengthen you core and keep your back pain free.
Follow these three simple tips and say goodbye to back pain in 2009.
