Motivate Your Starving Souls
New Book of Poetry Helps Feed and Exercise the Spirit
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – “Sometimes people need a little push to get going” says JL Poet. Motivate Your Spirits Poem Style 1: A Collection of Inspirational Poetry (now available through 1stBooks), is a self-help guide, a volume of deep verse and an exercise book for the mind and soul all in one riveting poetry book.
Poet examines the trials, tribulations, surprises and jubilations of life with her new book, Motivate Your Spirits. Deeply grounded in her Christian faith, she expounds on people’s daily lives and the ways of the Bible. Her poetry serves an example of how to live, trumpeting with the impact of a motivational speech and the subtle sympathy of a close friend. Feeling that the world has grown lazy about the health of their souls, Poet has written poetry to help workout the tired spirits of the common individual.
“The book of poetry is not an ordinary one. This is a self-help book to feed malnourished souls. Many people today are starving and will continue to starve until they realize that they hold the key to the door deep down inside…We must exercise and share our minds if we desire to manifest the desires of our hearts. We must have faith in God, but also in ourselves, despite what others may think or feel,” Poet says.
Rejoicing in her love and devotion to God, Poet shows others how they can expand their own souls to lead fulfilling lives. Through her relationship with God she hopes to help others in need. In her poem, “The Apple of My Eye,” she explores this close love: “He guards my life/ His love holds me at night/ His voice reassures me/ That everything will be alright/ God’s love/ Is the only true love/ That I know/ There is no doubt that/ He is/ The captain of my soul/ He makes my life complete/ Light/ Sweet/ Like a refreshing/ Piece of symphony.”
Those looking to feed their souls need to scrounge no more. Motivate Your Spirits is the delicious guide to spiritual health and contented nourished souls.
Poet has received worldwide recognition for her writing accomplishments. A native of Louisville, Ky., she currently holds membership with BMI and The International Association of Pastoral Psychologists, where she is receiving training in pastoral psychology. Poet has served as an AmeriCorps VISTA and is a former Summa Cum Laude paralegal student. Motivate Your Spirits is her first book.
