The celebrated honor took place during the Broward County Go Red Luncheon at the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 12:00 p.m. Bev Capasso, “Go Red” event chairperson and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Cleveland Clinic in Florida presented Lorraine, the event’s “Queen of Hearts”, with the Reality Rhyming® appreciation piece in front of an enthusiastic crowd of over 500 participants, all wearing red.
Jennifer Buchanan, Go Red event director said, “Todd (Edwards) created an absolutely beautiful gift for Lorraine. Everyone associated with this event thanks him from the bottom of their hearts. It’s not only exquisite, but the Rhyme is beautiful. Lorraine is an amazing woman and it was the perfect touch to a fantastic event.”
When asked about the piece Edwards created, he stated, “I was elated to have been asked by Jennifer (Buchanan) to create Lorraine’s honor for this event. She’s such a classy, distinguished and generous woman who’s a big part of the American Heart Association and as well, the South Florida community. I was thrilled when she (Lorraine) told me that she not only appreciated the Reality Rhyming® piece that I created for her, but she also loved her life story as well.”
