Knight in shining armour hits London streets in attempt to raise funds for breast cancer.

Pressbox (Press Release) - A London based entrepreneur plans to parade the streets of the city of London today in a mad attempt at winning a $10k prize in a global competition to gain exposure for a freelancing websites logo. He has pledged 50% of any prize money awarded to a national Breast Cancer charity.

Saif Bonar, a 31 year old entrepreneur and freelance worker from Croydon found out about the competition on Monday, while doing some research for a new project. Having reviewed entries, he felt he could do better and sprung into action to plan and deliver a campaign with maximum impact and minimum budget, while combining real world high profile activity backed up by quantifiable online promotion through social networks.

On Thursday 25 February Saif will be “Sir Freelancerlot” for the day, dressed in appropriate attire he intends to visit major attractions, business districts and commuter hubs in an attempt to expose the freelancer.com hummingbird logo to as many people as possible. Saif will be encouraging people to take their photo with him and the hummingbird logo and then upload it to the internet via a Facebook Group or to send a link to it through Facebook or Twitter.

Commenting on the mad-cap activity, Saif said “it seemed like a good idea at the time, but has ended up being a lot of work behind the scenes. I am hoping the day goes well, it would be great to win the prize – bringing in some much needed funds for myself – but also sharing half the winnings with Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a worthy charity, chosen by followers of the Facebook Group I set-up to cover the antics”.
