Invest in ME Announces The ME Conference 2006

Invest in ME are pleased to announce the following conference to coincide with ME Awareness Month and the Independent Inquiry into ME:
The M.E. Conference 2006 - An Update on Clinical Diagnosis, Research Trends and Educational Support
The conference is to be held in London on ME Awareness Day – 12th May 2006.
Invest in ME are pleased to welcome some of the most prominent speakers within the ME community –

Also presenting will be the chair of the Independent inquiry into ME – Dr. Ian Gibson MP.
Invest in ME is an independent group campaigning for bio-medical research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.), as defined by World Health organisation code WHO-ICD-10-G93.3. We have links nationwide and also internationally.
With at least 250,000 sufferers of ME in the UK alone, many of them children, Invest in ME is making education about, and awareness of, ME a main objective. Invest in ME continues to campaign for more funding to be provided for biomedical research into ME.
The number of M.E. sufferers in the UK is about 5 times that of HIV/AIDS.
