A British company, who manufacture innovative seating solutions for people with complex postural requirements, is showcasing their pioneering products at Rehacare 2009; the largest assistive technologies fair in the world.
Specialised Orthotic Services Ltd provide a wide range of bespoke specialist seating equipment; which includes moulded toilet seats and shower seats, stylish seating systems for the home, bean bag seats and harnesses.
All their products are designed to the highest standards and offer adults and children comfort, support and confidence in their daily postural management.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Specialised Orthotic Services have an in-depth knowledge of the marketplace and this was recognised last year when Managing Director, Gordon McQuilton received an MBE for ‘Services in special seating for disabled children and adults’.
Their unique seating systems are tailored to meet people’s specific needs and fall into two basic categories modular seating and custom seating.
Modular seating provides effective support to people who are unable to maintain a stable mid-line position when sitting and customised seating is specifically designed for people who require a high degree of postural support and control. Custom seating systems are particularly appropriate for client with complex needs.
