We’re offering you the opportunity to come and try out a course for yourself or send your teenager to review the teenager’s course for you!

The Cooking Academy is a unique cookery school that teaches how to cook real food whilst exploring the chemical composition, nutritional and herbal values of food so that recipes look and taste great, are quick and easy to make and encourage well-being. You will learn how to cook every day food, from beginners who want to learn to cook from scratch, those who simply want to develop confidence in the kitchen, to people who are already cooking but want to extend their knowledge and repertoire to learn particular techniques. The cookery classes are available in different types of food from classic British and European right through to Indian, Thai and Japanese.

The Cooking Academy offers practical hands on cookery classes to teenagers and adults of all ages. Ingredients are at the heart of everything they teach and classes are small and intimate, making sure pupils receive the utmost benefit. Courses such as these will hopefully save the next generation of children from a lifetime of ready meals and beans on toast. The Cooking Academy is currently offering a special price of £149.00 for the Feb 17th Teenage course!

About The Academy:

The Academy’s aim is to introduce you to the advantages of cooking for yourself and enjoying the benefits of freshly made food. Their fundamental principle is that their cookery classes are small, hands on and experimental, so that you can easily transfer what you have learnt to your own kitchen. They dispel the myth that cooking is difficult or complicated by making it fun and practical with lots of helpful hints and tips about food management, storage, knife skills and practical shopping. Their chefs are experienced in teaching people at all levels and use language and style that is comfortable and conducive to learning.

Whether you choose a one to one method of learning or group classes the experience will be entirely practical, no jargon or knowledge assumed and step by step with printed and electronic notes and recipes. All the ingredients and equipment will be provided by the academy. Group classes have a maximum size of 6 delegates. One to one classes are also available on the client’s site to help you learn in your own environment.

The Cooking Academy is set in an ideal location in Rickmansworth, which lies on the borders of Middlesex and Hertfordshire and is accessible by London Underground on the metropolitan line just outside of Harrow on the Hill. So come and join a class, it’s the perfect combination of fun and creativity where you can learn how to cook and host your own dinner party.

The Classes:

The classes are available for individuals who want to learn to cook, in schools to support the national curriculum and in the corporate sector as cookery gift experiences, team building events and corporate incentives to employees. They offer a range of classes to suit different tastes in food:

· British & European – learning to cook

· Everyday Authentic Indian cuisine
