The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute is reminding American's to check there blood preassure, if left unchecked sever problems may occur without warning. The Institute emphasizes that prevention is the key and that high blood preassure can be controlled through manitaining a healthy weight, exercise, and healthy eating, including reduced sodium intake and eating five or more servings of fruits and vegtables a day. High blood preasure increases the risk of heart disease and stroke especially when other risk factors are preasent.
