A Childs Right to Survive.

Added: (Thu Sep 29 2005)

The numbers are staggering. In the next 7 days alone more people will die from malnutrition than those who perished in the recent South East Asian Tsunami. The sad part is, these deaths are fully preventable.

Despite the efforts of Governments, non-profits and big business, the situation is getting worse, but with your help we can make a big difference, not only to the world but to your own life as well.

Since 1963, the World Food Program (WFP) has invested US$34.8 billion and more than 60 million metric tons of food to combat hunger and yet it's just a drop in the ocean. To reach the World Food Summit goal of reducing hunger by half by 2015, the number of hungry people needs to fall by 22 million a year.

Currently it is only 6 million a year, even after decades of efforts by emergency and development projects. The sad part is, that many of those that are lucky enough to get fed, will probably suffer and die from the effects of malnutrition anyway.

Governments and big businesses have obviously failed, not only with the fair distribution of wealth but also with the fair distribution of health, and even at securing the most basic human right; the right to have access to healthy nutritious food.

The distribution of perishable food is complicated and costly and the reality is that due to inadequate funding, the quality of food that the poor receive is for the most part appalling and does not provide them with many of the key nutrients they need to survive.

We have decided to do something about this appalling situation. We nourish children with a highly Nutritious Drink Mix and are already achieving wonderful results.

Any legitimate individual, company or group, including other Humanitarian organizations can join us and generate ongoing residual income. Members will be able to influence where they want the Aid revenue generated through their website to go and have access to annual reports, which will include verification of all donations, purchases and distribution efforts.
