Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council selects GOSS for Web Content Management expertise

After a thorough procurement process, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council has selected GOSS Interactive to design and build its new website.
GOSS was selected over forty other vendors because the Council believed GOSS best met its criteria for a new Web Content Management system, particularly in relation to quality and value for money. Other factors which contributed to the Council’s decision to select GOSS were the software’s ability to provide out-of-the-box functionality, including: content review, publishing workflow, performance, in-house development capabilities and a solid support route.
The site will be managed in-house, by the Council’s web team, using GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management) – replacing the Council’s current Web Content Management System and allowing council services to be offered online. GOSS iCM will provide improved accessibility, flexible templates, and an easier system for devolved content contributors to upload content and images using a WYSIWYG editor.
