PDF Editor: Post-edit any PDF-document

The new version of PDF-Editor is the ideal tool for anyone using PDF documents. It allows post-editing of any PDF and saving the changes. It helps you to correct PDF documents even when you do not have the original file.
The world is turning digital. The Portable Document Format (PDF) developed by Adobe has become the eminent format when exchanging forms, texts, contracts, documents, tables, graphs within or across organisations. PDF is an open format and a number of applications allow creating PDFs from most document files. Prominent among these software applications are CAD-KAS PDF-Creator and Adobe Acrobat. PDFs are popular because they result in a safe but much more compact document, maintaining the original layout. All the recipient needs to read the file on his PC is a free pdf-reader like "CAD-KAS PDF Reader" or "Adobe Acrobat Reader", which are installed on most computers and can be downloaded for free from the Internet. The documents work across platforms on Windows, Mac and Linux.
The only remaining problem was that PDFs could not be modified. Christian Kassler, head of development at specialist developer CAD-KAS compares: “Adobe’s costly Acrobat Professional offers only minimal post-editing features, where the new version of our "PDF Editor" offers a wide range of post-editing features at a fraction of the cost.” The application opens PDF files displaying their content and allowing to modify texts as well as images and to save these changes. The CAD-KAS team sees many applications for “PDF Editor”: “People loose original PDF files due to crashes or when changing systems. With PDF Editor it is very easy to apply amendments like changing an address or telephone number or updating data tables and pictures. The original PDF file is no longer required.”
Getting started with the application is easy due to its clean and modern program interface. All relevant features are accessed through a task bar. With PDF Editor you can move text blocks, rotate them or change their size. Editing, scaling or deleting pictures takes a few mouse clicks. You can change image layers, bringing another image to the foreground. The option to apply notes or text comes in extremely handy for all PC users plagued by requests to fill-in forms, as you can actually save these into the PDF file. "Particularly interesting is the exclusive PDF Editor feature to stamp PDF’s with predefined messages like CONFIDENTIAL or INTERNAL USE ONLY" adds Christian Kassler.
Many “PDF Editor” features like changing the font type, underlining texts, marking read-signs or filling in forms can ease the burden of our PDF dominated work life. The application allows deleting individual pages from multi-page pdfs changing their order or even adding pages. "CAD-KAS PDF Editor" enables those who wish, to change the PDF’s source code or to create access protected PDFs.
