LIQUIDLOGIC OFFER ALTERNATIVE TO INTEGRATE THE ICS
Added: (Thu Aug 04 2005)
During July Liquidlogic hosted events in London, Birmingham and Newcastle to demonstrate an alternative to integrating existing social services systems with the Integrated Children’s System (ICS).
Following recent feedback from local authorities, which revealed concern at the availability of appropriate APIs to allow integration with the ICS, Liquidlogic has developed an alternative integration tool using robotics technology.
Demonstrations of the ICS solution provided an overview of the available tools, user interface and integration capabilities. Robotic transactions between ICS and social care systems were explained, together with how integration was achieved through the automated exchange of data between systems by robotically logging-in and controlling the user front-end.
Lively interaction from the audience was prominent at all three events and as a result of the questions raised, a document outlining the differences and benefits of robotics versus APIs is currently being produced by Liquidlogic, as well as a list of FAQs. This information will shortly be available from the Liquidlogic website www.liquidlogic.co.uk.
