Founder of The World Entrepreneur Success Training Program Launches a Global Campaign to Combat the

(Pittsburgh, PA) – At 2pm EDT on Monday June 29th, founder of the World Entrepreneur Success Training Program, Bob Yeager, learned from one of his students that the state of Rhode Island's General Assembly is in the process of passing an unconstitutional veto-proof majority tax sheme that will force any internet based business owner living in the state of Rhode Island to charge customers a Rhode Island State sales tax. Because of this, the largest media distribution company, Amazon.com released this message to their Rhode Island based associates today:
"We are writing from the Amazon Associates Program to notify you that your Associates account has been closed as of June 29, 2009. This is a direct result of the unconstitutional tax collection scheme passed by the Rhode Island General Assembly with a veto-proof majority. As a result, we will no longer pay any referral fees for customers referred to Amazon.com or Endless.com after June 29. We were forced to take this unfortunate action in anticipation of actual enactment because of uncertainties surrounding the legislation’s effective date. The governor could sign the bill -- or have his veto overridden -- any day now.
Please be assured that all qualifying referral fees earned prior to June 29, 2009 will be processed and paid in full in accordance with our regular referral fee schedule. Based on your account closure date of June 29, 2009, any final payments will be paid by September 1, 2009.
In the event that Rhode Island repeals this tax collection scheme, we would certainly be happy to re-open our Associates program to Rhode Island residents.

Bob Yeager, president and Founder of www.TheWESTProgram.com, is launching a global campaign to publicize this illegal taxation scheme and has been on the phone with Rhode Island officials since 2pm EDT. The calls are being shuffled from office to office, only to be placed on hold and told how "we had no idea" that this would cause such an affect. This law is going to be passed over the next day or two with the Rhode Island Governor sitting on his thumbs doing nothing to stop this scam.
With the news of this ordeal, affiliate programs from around the world will be forced to reject and cancel the accounts of any entrepreneur living in the state of Rhode Island. The costs to enforce and the loss of sales for these companies would far outweigh the loss of sales from Rhode Island internet business owners. This could quite possibly have a detrimental affect on the economy of Rhode Island as well as, it could quite possibly take away the last solution that the sitizens of that state had to strive during a dead economy.
