Subject: From Reg charity National Society for Children and Family Contact" : Home Secretary John Reid adds insult to injury

Surely the Home Secretary must be aware from his own statistics that each and every day since his party has been in office some one hundred children have lost contact with their paternal side of the family due to lack of parity in the family law system. Result being that these children have lost input from role models they most desperately need and are entitled to under the Human Rights Act article 6&8. For John Reid to now put the blame and responsibility back onto antisocial and dysfunctional youngsters the majority of whom are victims of a society his party created is to abdicate his governments absolute failure re Human Rights in family law for the past 9 years which has removed not only fathers but also some one million grandparents from childrens lives. Suffice to say its an insult to the founding fathers of the labour movement, for no longer can it be said Of the people for the people. The NSCFC applauds any party who puts the best interest of family life first; sadly this does not include the labour party.
