DJI Addresses Trippi, LA Times Brownstein, and America’s Political Divide

In light of recent comments by former Howard Dean Campaign Chairman, Joe Trippi, and LA Times writer Ronald Brownstein, Daniel “DJI” Imperato came out and issued a statement on America’s political divide.
“I would like to take the opportunity to finally have the chance to tell the people of the United States of America and the rest of the world that Mr. Trippi has unconditionally called it right. But not only is the Democratic Party being split, but also the Republican Party and the entire country,” expressed Imperato.
Due to the splits within both parties, Imperato “The People’s President” felt that is was inappropriate to align himself with either major party.
“I believe that it will be impossible at this point and inappropriate at this point for me to consider endorsing the democrats or the republicans and running in the 2008 White House seat as either party,” stated Imperato.
Imperato then outlines what he thought was America’s affinity towards a third party and named his platform for 2008, ‘Revive America’.
“I believe it is time to Revive America. I believe the opportunity has presented itself for a third strong party to present a challenge to the Democrats and the Republicans.”
“While I was brought up as a proper Bostonian, walked with and supported the Kennedy’s as a Democrat, and then grew up and supported the Bushes as a Republican, I am here to announce that my allegiance is to America, its people, and what’s best for them both,” exclaimed Imperato.
Due to America’s political divide, Imperato believed that a ‘Democrat-Republican’ is needed to bring America together.
“Through my exploratory campaigning, my consideration is to run as a Democrat-Republican (DR) and to create and establish the strongest independent party that’s ever bid for a White House seat,” said Imperato.
“In conjunction with Mr. Trippi’s explanations of divide, I stand up to tell the country and the people of the United States of American that ‘The People’s President 2008’, Daniel “DJI” Imperato, will be shortly announcing his commitment to run for the 2008 White House seat,” announced Imperato.
Imperato finished his remarks with the following: “Mark my words that my campaign as a Democrat-Republican will be the most serious, most diligent, sophisticated campaign that my team and I will deliver to the best of our human abilities. I stake my claim as a winner and a leader and a die hard old school man of principle, integrity, and faith that never quits, never gives up, and won’t stop until I Revive America.”
