SWINTON INSURANCE BROKERS BROKE THE RULES ON PAYMENT PROTECTION INSURANCE

Pressbox (Press Release) - In a move to rock the financial services industry, the Action for PPI Claimants (A.P.P.I.C) organisation has declared war on the FSA and the financial services industry following a decision by the FSA to fine Swinton insurance brokers £770,000.

A spokesman for the Action Group said today:

"The level of deceit by Swinton and other companies is breathtaking for its sheer deceit. They knew full well that the policies were being sold literally at any price. Worse still, presented with claims, these same companies will do anything to avoid accepting liability."

A.P.P.I.C. are now intent upon taking the FSA to Court as well as urging the authority to bring criminal proceedings for what they refer to as "criminal deception."
