Resource Corporation upgrading multi-currency capability for Solomon sOFTWARE

Pressbox (Press Release) - 10th December 04 - London – The Resource Corporation Limited, a valued added Microsoft Business Solution Reseller of the Solomon solution will be launching in the first quarter of 2005 their new updated Global Project Extension (GPE) for Solomon version 6. The product is being Beta tested and will provide companies using the upgraded Solomon Solution the ability to handle multiple currencies, tracking and billing, local sales taxes, whilst also handling expense, budgets, costs and revenues on a global and local projects basis.

Employees may work on any project, from virtually any global location using the web-based facility. They will also be able to report their time and be paid in their home currency. The customer can be billed at an agreed rate in an agreed currency.

There is the ability within the GPE to also incur expenses in any local currency, whilst still billing in the local currency for the contract. There is an inbuilt authorisation facility and defaults can be set up for each local area if required. Local Project Managers can receive alerts and notifications from other Projects which may impact on the Project they are working on or when seconded to other areas away from Projects.

Resource Corporation will offer a new pricing structure which in some cases can mean in certain cases up to 80% off the old multi-currency module price list and will include a price per user option; this will replace the enterprise model, which has proved very successful. This new pricing will reflect the increased sales that are being experienced and the commitment by Resource Corporation to maintain competitive pricing yet keep the value and standard of the product and support at a consistently high level
