Improve your cars performance in just one day

There are many quick fixes which drivers can use to improve their cars looks and sound, but surely not many fixes will improve its performance in just one day? Actually, for those in the know there are many, many ways of improving a vehicles performance quickly and easily.
Follow some of this advice and your car could be roaring to go after just one afternoons work:
• Clean out your car. All that excess weight in the form of useless junk which is carried with you from A to B means more drag and higher fuel consumption. Eliminate extra weight and your car will cruise down the motorway.
• Change your oil. Fresh oil is always good, and some drivers recommend that a change to synthetic oil is the way to go, because it provides the best protection, cleanest ride and lowest friction for a car engine.
• Change your spark plug wires. Special wiring with low resistance and no electronic interference is available for performance cars. These wires carry a stronger signal to the spark plug, increasing the efficiency of your vehicle’s spark plugs and starting the engine more efficiently.
• Change the air filter. Improved airflow increases the performance of any engine and high performance cool air intake systems are even moulded to bring the coldest air possible into your engine, by obstructing heat from the engine. Increased horsepower is the main benefit of changing your air filter.
These steps are easy and inexpensive, and aside from improved performance, will also lead to improved fuel consumption and a marginally cleaner output. It’ a good idea to alert your car insurance provider to any major changes you make to your car, as there new items may not be covered if your motor insurance provider was not made aware of them before the claim.
