Pressbox (Press Release) - Musical Encounters at Louvergny, in the French Ardennes, from 10 until 18 August 2002. 

From 10 until 18 August, Ardennes countryside inhabitants invite you to share their love for classical music and meet confirmed musicians in the churches of Ardennes small villages.


Every year, a passionate group of Ardennes music lovers organizes “Louvergny’s Musical Encounters”. This is based on friendly and informal invitation of international confirmed musicians. At every concert, the emotion is shared both by the public and the musicians.

This year, Louvergny’s Musical Encounters will feature three centuries of Italian music, with works by Vivaldi, Durante, Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, Respighi etc. Concerts will be given on the 10 and 11 August, and from 14 to 18 August.

The three main concerts will take place
• On the 15th August at the 17th century Post Relay House, Launois-sur-Vence, at 5.30 pm;
• On the 16 August at 8 pm and on 17 August at 7.30 pm at the church at Louvergny.
