As cool and breezy as the Floridian lifestyle into which he was raised, David Fuit , is one of those artists that once you’ve heard, you just don’t forget. There’s more to this young artist than blonde-haired, blue-eyed good looks suggest. Deep smooth vocals drop effortlessly over a cool, funky guitar with sounds of "I just don’t give a damn!" Growing up in Port Orange, FL., in a home where Jimmy Buffett records played alongside the sounds of Tom Petty and Elvis Presley, David’s love of music was further inspired. David would watch endlessly as his father played songs on a piano that his grandmother had helped build. At age 13, he had to beg his father for a guitar, as in a house full of teenage kids the last thing needed was the sound of an untamed instrument. David eventually got his way in the form of a black Johnson acoustic, which his father purchased for $85 at a local pawnshop. So began this wonderful friendship. The boy and his guitar went everywhere together. What started as writing funny songs for family and friends, turned into an undeniable talent for matching smart lyrics with catchy tunes and melodies. If he ever had doubt of his ability as an artist, it became clear when he first wrote and recorded “Say What?!” while living in a dumpy apartment in Los Angeles.
“While driving home after recording the first demo of the song with my windows down- a group of peers next to me, who were stopped at a stoplight yelled over to my car "Hey what are you listening to? That song sounds awesome!" Recalls David. “It was one of the coolest things ever to happen to me…still is.”

David also co-stars in the art house film CAROLINE AND JACKIE, submitted to the Sundance Film Festival as the handsome young boyfriend. The film, a comedy centres around the complex relationship of two sisters and their manipulative relationships and is reminiscent of some of Woody Allen’s best early hits.
“Say What” is the pre-cursor to an upcoming album, which likewise has the laid back flair and intoxicating hooks of the current single.
