Spilt Pupil is the newly discovered British rapper that everyone is talking about; he was born with elongated irises (dark marking). Reason for the name he goes by. “I had the eye from day one."
Some of his followers describe his look as a predator, a means for success; the rapper says he says he decided to go with that name because it gives him his own identity and also like to refer to it as the world through his eyes. This is totally evident in his writing. Bristol has a new found star on there hands and UK will have another reason to say there’s talent over here. Spilt Pupil is a lyrical MC taking the language of British rap to newer heights. His exceptional talent is not surprising giving his talented father a member of the legendary reggae band Talisman, much loved by DJ John Peel they also earned suits alongside Rolling Stones!!
Crafting his skills as an MC from the age of 13, the Bristol MC chose music as a way of channelling his emotions boldly experimenting with language and catching the attention of the Bristol scene. Working with the likes of Ace Alani the producer, Spilt Pupil is quickly building up a strong and loyal following beyond the walls of the city. No old skool MC, the lyricist’s craft flowered into veracious and profound lyrics, catching the attention of well-known London-based producer Xtra, founder of Ching Ching Records. Xtra with his crew, Nxus, was passionately committed to new, fresh British hip-hop, encouraging Spilt Pupil to form his own group. Within months, Junior Nxus burst on the underground scene, taking live shows and talent slots by storm with their unbelievable ability to rock the enthusiastic crowds resulting in bookings after bookings, the lucky ones who followed the talented group will never forget their ability to rock the crowd.
"My first love is music, I decided to concentrate on a solo journey," says Spilt Pupil.
His restless energy and heightened perception force the wordsmith to write day and night. There is rarely a moment in his life when he is not working on some new material. The hip-hop master is on a musical mission. Spilt Pupil will be working with a number of leading producers on his first solo album and has a mixtape due aug/sept 2007.he has also had the approval of Mick Clark A&R (soul ii soul) His growing army of followers claim the album will be a masterpiece. Many believe Spilt Pupil is a promising artist from the UK capable of flying the flag, set to transform the British hip-hop scene and put it on the right track.

Father: Leroy Forbes, legendary guitarist with Talisman whose Dole Age/Free Speech spent nine weeks in the Top 20 in 1981.
