FIZZ, KING OF POP!
(The flea about to make changes! BIG changes!)

Book for release on 30th January 2010.

He was a little guy with big dreams; A little guy who wanted to be big, move mountains! Meet Fizz, King of Pop! A flea, who would one day, be big!

Bored with his life within Springville Town, New York, right in the heart of the humans mattress, he was a flea who wanted to be seen; be noticed. Be a somebody!
And he was a flea who was about to make changes; BIG changes!

Eighteen-year-old Fizz, backed by his family, the Fleamans, sets off to show the world, that he too has a voice! Because he is determined that one day, he is going to be a star. A HUGE pop star! And the one day, he too will walk the red carpet, donning Versace shades. After all, who said that little guys should be seen and not heard?
And so, he heads off to seek the one man who can make or break his dreams; Simon Cowell. Because never in the rulebook did it say that fleas could not enter the X Factor!

Faced with the physical challenges of being small, his journey is tough, yet heart warming as his battle to overcome adversity commences. And on his way, he meets Cindy, a chick. But Cindy is no ordinary chick; she is a chicken chick, who has escaped a life of being squished in a bun. And Cindy is a chick on a mission; to learn to fly and to set free the chicks that have been left behind at Mr.Menaces’ battery farm. If not, they too face the peril of ending up served up on a bun at his ‘Cute Chickie, Fried Chicken’ fast food bar.

And so the two fall in love, Fizz riding on her back, (not that Cindy is a chick who carries passengers!) as what then becomes their joint quest for fame and fortune continues.

But Fizz is never a flea to feel down. After all, his father always taught him to ‘Stand tall and walk proud, reach for the top’. And his mother always said that to ‘Be big, you have to think big’.

Fizz, King of Pop is a tale of love, determination and one that touches the hearts of both old and young. Big and small. (Or even big and very teeny!) It is a story that shows that each and every one of us can realise our dreams if only we believe enough. And a moral that tells us, that big dreams really can come true. Even for little guys!
