The Utopian Society Movie starring Austin Nichosl(Day After Tomorrow, GLory Road) and Malin Akerman

Weve all been to college. Weve all waited until the last night to study. But somehow, we all got it done. What if you had a class project that was one hundred percent of your grade? What if you had to work with five other people who didnt want to work? And what if everyone in the group hated each other?
Welcome to the Utopian Society.
Six college students (a sorority girl, a fraternity guy, a basketball player, a nerd, an ultra liberal, and a party girl) have just been put together by their teacher to design a Utopian Society. Like many college students, theyve waited until the night before the project is due to begin working on it. And just like being in college, they would all rather be doing something else. Whether it is doing sake bombs at sushi bars, shoplifting beer, or playing strip basketball, the group finds any activity possible to keep them from working.
Will the group be able to look past their pre-determined notions about each other and get some work done? And ultimately, can a perfect peaceful society be created by a group of kids who spend the whole night arguing? Or in fact, is that what Utopia is?
The Utopian Society has been selected in over 40 film festivals across the country. It has won over a half a dozen awards. Find out why audiences are packing the theaters to see the film that critics are calling the modern day Breakfast Club and comparing to American Graffiti.
