Parky blasts The Apprentice
Added: (Tue May 01 2007)
Veteran broadcaster Michael Parkinson has savaged the vulgarity of hit reality show, The Apprentice.
The chat show host labeled Sir Alan Sugars high-profile search for a thrusting business executive as confrontational vulgarity.
I find that kind of television offensive, he tells Heat magazine. That kind of TV is responsible nowadays for a lot of bad social behaviour.
So, when you see Sir Alan Sugar barking Youre fired at people with a kind of smug look on his face, I think its fundamentally rude.
Its one of those shows based on some kind of confrontational vulgarity.
