Neil Phillips & Tom Spencer of The Yo-Yo’s Strike Again!

Pressbox (Press Release) - After the April 2001, announcement of the split of Sub Pop Recording artists, The Yo-Yo’s, Lucky 13 Records is pleased to announce that former Yo-Yo’s members, Tom Spencer and Neil Phillips (Phillips, also of the British outfit the B-Movie Hero’s) have joined Lucky 13 Recording artists, Danny Frye and the Devildolls.

Spencer and Phillip’s are scheduled to arrive in the U.S. early next week to rehearse for the up-coming Danny Frye & Devildolls U.K. tour, which will begin in November. The tour will continue through December and after a short break, will resume, hitting cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Both Neil and Tom will be playing guitar for ‘The Devildolls as well as assisting with backing vocals.

Danny Frye & the Devildolls debut CD “Hellbent” is creating quite a buzz throughout the music community and the hit single “Pretty Face” is currently in rotation on radio stations across the U.S, Canada and U.K. (release date 9.1.01 – Lucky 13 Records)
