Models Direct Reveals New Spring/Summer 2010 Campaign Models

We’re only really just getting into autumn, but in the fashion world everyone is already thinking about next spring and summer! The four major fashion weeks have taken place and now designers are concentrating on their advertising campaigns. Here, modelling agency Models Direct reveals some of the models who will be filling our magazine pages over the next twelve months.
At the tender age of just seventeen, model Karlie Kloss is already hugely successful. This autumn she has featured in advertisements for Chloé, Marc Jacobs and Pringle of Scotland, to name just a few. She also appears in this October’s edition of Vogue a staggering 23 times. Now it has been revealed that she has been selected by designer John Galliano as the face of Dior’s spring/summer 2010 campaign.
At the other end of the age spectrum, 39-year-old supermodel Claudia Schiffer has been working on a campaign for Chanel in a photoshoot directed by Karl Lagerfeld himself. Schiffer had one of her first major campaigns with Chanel so it’s great to see her return.
The photoshoot took place recently on the streets of Buenos Aires, but before you get too jealous of the models, the shoot had to be postponed due to rain. It is also rumoured that models Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi will also feature in the campaign, but were not so easily spotted.
British favourite Alexander McQueen’s face of spring/summer 2010 has also been revealed. Raquel Zimmerman, who starred in the video played at McQueen’s spring fashion show, has recently modelled in a photoshoot directed by Nick Knight.
