Lost Ark Found description:

Young Peter Brewster becomes obsessed with finding a lost treasure when he stumbles across a 300-year-old journal in his grandparent's attic. With only three weeks of summer vacation remaining, Peter convinces four teenage friends and his grandfather that they should join him on a quest in the wilds of modern-day Vancouver Island to find great hidden riches.
Come along with them on this adventure - as they overcome obstacles, solve riddles, and conquer their fears. Smell the sweet scent of the cedar tree forest. Gaze into the eye of an eagle. Discover one of the greatest treasures known to man.

The author, Rob Sargeant was inspired to write his book while taking three days of UN leave in Galilee, Israel, in June of 2004. Over the course of several months he wrote it in his spare time – usually on weeknights and early Saturday mornings. Then Sargeant would read completed chapters to his two preteen sons over long distance phone calls back to his home in Canada. This helped to entertain his sons, and eased some of the stress created by being separated from them for six-months while on UN tour. At the time he didn’t think that the story would ever be published.

After returning to Canada, and sharing the story with friends, Sargeant was encouraged to find a publisher. Six months, and several drafts later Lost Ark Found was released by a publisher in Baltimore, Maryland.

Since April 2005, Rob Sargeant’s book has been available to be ordered from most quality online, and bricks and mortar bookstores.
