HOLLYWOOD AGENCY SETS UP CAMP IN W2
LONDON, 2001 - Los Angeles, California based look-a-like and impersonator talent agency Mirror Images Co. has set up a UK office in London’s W2. Headed up by Bill Hickey, formerly of The Wrightlook UK, otherwise now absorbed into Mirror Images Co, the agency headed up by company founder and LA based Dot Findlater, is out to ensure professionalism at the core of its business.
Established for the past three years, Mirror Images Co is based on the precept that ‘somebody has to be doing it better’. Casting director, Hickey draws on the experience of heading up, operating and managing UK based modeling and look-a-like agency The Wrightlook UK.
Further drawing on his experience, Hickey will utilize his understanding of what clients want and further to, how look-a-likes can be best presented in the design of Mirror Images Co. UK’s website. With a significant proportion of the commercial success of its stateside cousin attributed to online presence, Hickey’s skill will help consolidate the impact Mirror Images Co. UK is trying to establish whilst building on the vision of its US counterpart. The Wrightlook UK’s website, designed and managed by Hickey has enjoyed in excess of 1800 hits a week.
Hickey, a look-a-like in his own right won Best New Newcomer this year for his work as alter-ego Vinnie Jones the actor and premiership footballer. Numerous charitable appearances include BBC Children In Need and The Arthritis Research Campaign. It was through his resemblance to Jones that Hickey stumbled into the look-a-like business, since following the career of Jones recently starring in Guy Ritchie’s Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
Mirror Images based in Los Angeles and London operates across the globe.
