Best friends Emma and Suzie, dreamt up Fur Coat & No Knickers over a coffee when they totted up the cost of their outfits just for fun. They soon realised there was an enormous gulf in cost but not necessarily in style. This lead to conversations about where to splurge and where to cut back and finally resulted in the website.
