Following the success of Krakow StagWeb the stag weekend specialist tour operator has launched Gdansk as a new destination for 2008.
Simon Denning, Director at StagWeb said “We’ve really enjoyed working with our Polish team delivering programmes in Krakow. We’ve sent a lot of groups to Poland over the last 3 years and following on from that success, after doing our research, we wanted to introduce a genuinely appealing new Polish destination at a really high standard. Gdansk is perfect because it’s easy to get to from the UK, it’s got plenty of beaches for the summer groups and the tri-city area offers a really exciting location for a weekend break.”
The tri-city area of Gdansk, which includes Sopot and Gydnia, is the fourth largest metropolitan area in Poland. And due to its enviable location at the foot of the Baltic Sea, Gdansk offers its visitors a rich cultural and social experience.
Matt Lay, Polish Account Director at StagWeb says, “Gdansk is definitely one of the most exciting cities in Poland, it’s got everything a good stag party needs – there are a great range of activities and plenty of opportunities to enjoy a couple of very memorable nights. One of my favourites is the ’stag seadog supper’ we’ve set up which even includes a little pirate fancy dress. A day of fishing in the Baltic Sea followed by that has got to be an event to remember!”
StagWeb was started for private clients in 2001. Since inauguration StagWeb has sent well over 60,000 clients to over 50 destinations throughout the UK and Europe. ABTA bonded StagWeb offer bespoke stag weekends and packages for groups from 6 guests. Gdansk is a new and exciting destination for 2008, please see http://www.stagweb.co.uk/cityguide/gdansk.asp for more information.
