GUERRILLA RADIO SECURES NATIONAL AIRPLAY

Pressbox (Press Release) - Hotly tipped Midlands band Guerrilla Radio, are to play their first Birmingham gig in 2008, at The Rainbow Pub in Digbeth, Birmingham, this Friday on the 25th April.

Already having secured radio support during 2008 in Norway and California, the band have just announced that Chill Radio (on the DAB Digital network) have agreed to play the band's song ' Lonely Soul ' on forthcoming radio shows in April and May 2008.

The band's lead singer and bassist Chris Gittins said:

'This is a brilliant chance for us to build on our growing national and international profile. Radio play is our key to connecting with and winning new fans and thanks to Chill Radio, we can now do this nationally. We're really excited."

The guitar based band are set to release a download digital release single in the near future. The band's music has been described as '80s flavoured stadium rock', so new fans can expect big widescreen anthems with plenty of hooks and sweeping melodies.

Guerrilla Radio play The Rainbow Pub, in support to The Hoi Polloi; 160 High Street, Digbeth, B12 0LD, Friday 25th April. Tickets are 4 pounds on the door and the band hit the stage at approx. 9.45pm.
