GBK married celebrity with charity: 20% of proceeds were donated to Vh1's SAVE THE MUSIC Foundation and GBK contributed the $30k+-valued gift bags for auction to benefit several other non-profits like Celebrity Attendee DMC's Foster Care Foundation.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 22, 2007 -- GBK Productions rocked the Standard Downtown LA's Penthouse with their first time American Music Awards Gift Suite that took place on November 16th & 17th. Speaking of soul, GBK hit another high note providing talented live entertainment: Rising star R&B singer JROME charmed the suite with a set of soulful vocals and a crowd-pleasing performance. A rotating roster of professional deejays kept the crowd high-energy, spinning an eclectic mix of tunes to set the tone.

GBK Productions has helped non-profit clients raise millions
First stop on the gift tour was fab-filled with rock couture. Denim Legend Parasuco suited up Celebs in designer gear. The fashion-forward company gave back with GBK: They collected celebrity autographs to auction products to raise funds for their cause. To accessorize their new sexy styles, community-counscious B.E.L.T.S. adorned divas and dudes with Swarovsky®-studded extravagant belts. B.E.L.T.S. (Because Every Life Touches Someone) donates 100% of their profits to impoverished American children: the sale of each belt feeds one child for one year. Cut from the same socially-conscious cloth, DC-based iKY Clothing dressed Celebs in posh rock threads. Named VH1's Top 3 Rock Gear Companies this year, iKY is developing a collection of Tees that donate a percentage of proceeds to various charities. Currently sponsoring Duran Duran and World-Famous Deejay Ferry Corstein, iKY has garnered celeb endorsement interest from Hip Hop Icon and Social Entrepreneur DMC, AMA-Winner Chris Daughtry, and AMA-Presenter Blair Underwood, who was a GBK attendee at the Emmy Suite.

Celebs now dressed up got decked out with Israeli-imported designer jewelry from Oregon's Urban-Attitude. Art meets fashion in the stylish handmade pieces with Mediterranean flair in Jerusalem, Milan, and Paris. Swarovsky® crystals, Murano stones, precious metals, and semi-precious gemstones set within exquisite, original designs make the urban collection sophisticated, unique, and upscale. Portland-neighbor DB Clay adds a funky, fresh edge to traditional wallet design and craftsmanship. The wallets evolved from Duck Tape made products to hand-painted, one-of-a-kind works of art constructed from eco-friendly material with goals to go global.

After stars had their social pulses checked and shopped till they dropped, they got a much-needed boost from Energy Drink King WHO'S YOUR DADDY? New flavors like Green Tea and popular Pineapple-Cranberry were a great pick-me-up solo, but performed a delicious duet with the Fantastic EFFEN Vodka too. The open bar also flaunted Heineken which made GBK's parched partygoers happy-campers with mini-backpacks to tote the awesome 5L kegs.

Whether choosing booze, beer, or oomph-in-a-can, the next destination on this gifting voyage was an activity-filled fun room. Celebs had pictures taken by PhotoWow to be converted into colorful custom murals remniscent of Andy Warhol. HASBRO Games gifted the stars with their brand new iLIST Music Game that pits players' iPOD playlists against each other in a fastest-finger frenzy challenge and their revamped family-favorite, Life Twist & Turns. From the board games to the stage, ACE Karaoke demonstrated their DVD converter machine with scrolling lyrics and a live mic. Brave guests flexed their vocal skills and stage presence in playful renditions of old school classics. After the tone-deaf demos, they got to showcase their artistic talent, coloring pictures to benefit Art Stamps, LLC's fundraiser to save art education in schools and promote youth creativity.

Next on the agenda, escorts guided guests to be pampered. They received avant-garde facial systems and skin care kits from acclaimed cosmetic company NOVA. For beautiful, bold eyes, Revitalash provided their groundbreaking eyelash conditioner. The lengthening, strengthening, thickening formula was developed by a an optometrist as a special gift for his five-time breast cancer surviving wife whose chemotherapy treatments has left her long, luscious lashes looking damaged and sparse. Neighboring vendor, Cocoa Michelle, titillated taste buds with decadent chocolates and exceptional truffles. The artisan chocolatier selflessly requested Celebs to sign an apron embroidered with a pink breast cancer ribbon to auction off for fundraising. Finally, they received high-end professional grade blow dryers and curling irons from Barbar, a stylist and salon favorite.

With face, taste, and stresses taken care of, attendees continued on to more inviting vendors with exciting items. Posh-Life-Bling gave gift certificates for embellishing ornamental dazzle on common canvases like computers, lipstick cases, cell phones, and hair dryers. The flashy gemstone designs personalize any item. Wedding and special events regular, 100 Candles, gifted Celebs with a generous, colorful collection of scented candles. Next, video innovator VUDU provided visitors with their revolutionary tech toy that is effectively a box of blockbusters: VUDU offers instant access to more than two video stores worth of movies with over 5,000 flicks at your fingertips at home. EPlay Magazine offered stars valuable life coaching and healthy lifestyle literature like Apples, Eggs, and Onions. And to ease their minds and calm their nerves, NuRoc Mind Spa provided self-meditation training CD's that seeks to cleanse the Celeb's charkas to center their chi.

With no lulls in the lounge and no breaks in the action, Celeb's ended in the Finale room. Here, they received valuable gift certificates for yoga and pilates classes and products from Breathe Balance and for acupuncture and essential oils courtesy of West Hollywood's Harmony. Continuing care for body and Earth, the next destination replenished celebs with natural mountain water in "Green" packaging. Park City Ice Water is vacuum sealed in flexible pouches with no-spill spouts rather than in plastic bottles. This environmentally friendly package consumes 96% less waste and requires 75% less energy to produce. Pets were not forgotten either. Climate-controlled carrier creator KomfortPets provided guests with chic, sleek, transportable digs for dogs and cats.

RH Pumpkin provided silver star pendant charms that support third-world Cambodian economy. Eminem's Shady LTD. urban street apparel proved that masks are not only for Halloween anymore. Shady gave stars the coveted best-selling graffiti zip-up sweatshirt hoodie that hides the wearer's face behind a breathable graphic Jason mask, a snowboarder favorite. I-to-I Travel offered opportunities in 500 locations worldwide for Celebs to participate in a humanitarian vacation. The many-destination mission trips include community service, social work, home-building, and orphanage volunteering.

A Rose of Thanks blossomed as usual; the celebrities hand-wrote thank you cards to the troops that are stationed overseas. World Poker Tour gifted the lucky GBK attendees with metal suitcase full poker sets and a certificate to participate in their coveted Invitational Tournament in March 2008 . The Celebs finished their rounds with top-shelf tacos and spicy cuisine from Citysearch's Best of LA Winner SKY TACO, which was also named top six Mexican restaurants in the nation.
Guests left GBK's Fundraising Celebrity Gift Suite looking and feeling good inside and out.
