The Norbreck Castle Hotel on Blackpool’s North Promenade, plays host to an amazing 2-day classic motor event over the Bank Holiday Easter Weekend. Preceding the Classic Car Show, which takes place on Monday 13th April, The Blackpool Bike Show sees over 150 vintage classic and modern motorcycles displayed, all indoors. You’ll see the best of British machines and Japanese classics from the 70’s and 80’s plus American and Continental machines. There’s also the favourite club displays, trade stands (including dealers selling brand new machines) and of course, the popular classic spares auto jumble.
With running commentaries and judging of classes on both days, there are plenty of competitions and prizes for exhibitors.
Last year this event exceeded expectations with literally thousand of visitors over the two days and this year looks set to be even better.
The Blackpool Bike Show is open from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 12th April 2009. Admission prices are: Adults £6 and under 14’s £2.50. A 2-day ticket is available if you wish to attend the Classic Car Show the day after.
Leave the M55 and make your way to North Shore. The Norbreck Castle Hotel is easy to find, located on the promenade. There is plenty of free parking available.
