EastEnders Stars Lends Support to Mum's Special Appeal

Actor Adam Croasdell who currently features as Dr Al Jenkins in BBC's EastEnders was so moved by a recent story first featured in The Crawley Observer about the heartbroken mum of two terminally ill boys, who begged a thief to return her camera memory card full of precious memories, that he became determined to meet them. Nadine Green, 39, of Crawley, Sussex was enjoying a rare night out to celebrate her birthday – and grab a snap with the club Bar Med's special guest for the evening Adam Croasdell on October 16.
She was devastated when she realised her camera had disappeared – along with hundreds of treasured pictures of her boys and their two sisters. Nadine had ground-breaking IVF treatment to have two healthy baby girls after her sons, Harry, nine, and Jack, six, were born with muscle wasting disease muscular dystrophy.
Nadine said: "You can replace a camera, but you can't replace the memories, I really don't care if I ever see the camera again, I just
want the memory card."
Following an appeal made via The Crawley Observer on the 23rd of October - Adam Croasdell decided to make a surprise visit to Mrs Green and her children.
Adam Added "I was distraught when I read about Nadine's story, it was so poignant, especially what her little boys are going through - I am only too happy to try and help in anyway. " Adam who recently became a Celebrity Ambassador for Worldvision will be visiting Malawi with the charity at the end of the year and meeting for the first time, an orphan he has been sponsoring for the past 7 years.
