Added: (Mon Oct 31 2005)
Famous for his role as "Jimmy the cab driver" on MTV and star of The WB's "Grounded for Life," Donal Logue makes his feature film directorial debut on the independently financed black comedy - "Tennis, Anyone?"
Co-scripted with Kirk Fox, "Tennis Anyone?" is a hilarious look at the darker side of life as a Hollywood actor and ultimately a touching story about finding one's place. Two midlevel Hollywood losers, Danny Macklin (played by Donal Logue) and Gary Morgan (played by Kirk Fox), attempt to find redemption, revenge and meaning in their lives through "celebrity tennis tournaments" where the battles are so bitter because the stakes are so small.
"Tennis Anyone?" stars Logue, Kirk Fox, Jason Isaacs, Paul Rudd, Stephen Dorff, Henry Thomas, Greg Lauren, Danny Trejo, Kylie Bax, D.W. Moffett and Noah Wyle.
"Tennis Anyone?" will begin playing at the Landmark Theatre ACT I and ACT II in Berkeley, California and La Jolla Village Landmark in San Diego on November 11th. It is also slated to begin playing December 8th in Boston at the Landmark Theatre in Kendall Square. (100 minutes, adult language and content).

About Donal Logue:
Donal Logue, who is famous for his role as Jimmy the cab driver on MTV promos, is nothing like the greasy typical Boston cabby he portrays. Raised in El Centro, California, he was ASB president at his local high school, and went on to attend Harvard University. Although he had always considered himself a writer, his interest in theater was sparked at Harvard. He studied at the British-American Drama Academy in London, and performed in many plays before getting his break in "Sneakers". From there he went on to perform in movies such as "Little Women", "An Eye for an Eye", and "Disclosure." Even today, Donal enjoys writing almost more than acting. He writes the Jimmy the cab driver promos. "With acting, you gotta wait until someone gives you a role in a play or movie", says Donal. "With writing, you're not dependent on others, you don't have to wait. You can sit down and just create."
