The talented Singer/Songwriter Diana Mera globally presents her new album entitled “Luz Verde” (Green Light); the album was produced at Orange estudios - Los Angeles, CA, Igloo Music - Burbank, CA and El Pie - Buenos Aires Argentina. Under the supervision and production of two big names of music; Gustavo Borner winner of two Grammy’s and Dany Tomas composer of many hits that have been recorded by RBD, Cristian Castro, Diego Torres and many more. Mera offers nine new songs from her own inspiration and from brilliant songwriters like Claudia Brant, Ximena Munoz & Grecco Buratto; the tenth track brings us a piece recorded by the retired and extraordinaire artist Pepa Flores, recorded in 1968, composed by the phenomenon Serrat.
Luz Verde gives as fresh sounds, original ideas with European and American touches with the Latin base that distinguishes Diana Mera. The lyrics that we find in this album captivate us beyond anything we experimented before with an album. Diana Mera picks “Solemos” as the single in promotion; she composed it for her best friends. “This one goes for my friends and my sister Cristina; for being my pillows when I sleep and my light when I wake up” said Diana Mera expressing her feelings towards this song.
“Luz Verde” is an album that brought a lot of attention in Lima, Peru a couple of months ago when Diana realized the launching in the country where she was raised. It has received strong press support from Radiodifucion.com, Indie-Music.com, HispanicMPR.com and radios in Mexico DF. “The Young Latina singer Diana Mera has a voice that is at times hot and sexy and at others young and teenybopper sounding.” Darryl Gregory from Indie-Music commented.
