The World Cup is around again, This is it Records are promoting their fabulous Football song called 'Champions of the World' by This is it, a songwriter called Steve Scotton who promotes he's own music through his own label This is it Records.
There are five different mixes, a Dedicated England Pub Mix and a Neutral Pub Mix for other countries to sing along too, both sang by session singer Graham Saunders. A High Energy Stadium Mix sang by session singer Carrie Campbell Cooper which was released as a single in Germany in 2002 and also on various compilations in Japan and the USA, a Pop version sang by Richard Darbyshire from Living in a Box fame, Valerie Etienne also singing which is going on a football compilation in Japan due to be released in March 2006 and also a UK Compilation to be released in May this year through Prism Records.. Last but not least the Dance Mix with Carrie Campbell Cooper vocals, mixed by Jon Soundtank c/o Jenetic Records All mixes can be heard along with the Video featuring String Puppets at http://www.thechampionsoftheworld.com were you can also see the lyrics for each song.
