THE HOMECOMING GIG!
After selling out two nights earlier this year at their launch, Botown are back at Watermans for a special one night only show!
Venue: Watermans Theatre London
Dates: Saturday 7th November 2009
Tickets: £20 or £15 in advance
Botown is a super-tight Asian Soul Funk band, performing Bollywood grooves reborn with a soul funk twist. The exciting, genre-melting 11 piece band combines the glamour of Bollywood and the charisma of the Soul music and have been playing to sell-out audiences since their first gig.
The band was put together by Ajay, a top-ten artist in India who has worked with acts as diverse as Jamiroquai, Gregory Isaacs and the King of Bollywood himself – Shah Rukh Khan!
Say’s Ajay: “It’s great to be back at Watermans, as it holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we launched with two sell put gigs earlier this year, so we see it as coming back home! We’ve incorporated some great new songs in the set and it’s gonna rock!”
