BOXWISH LTD LAUNCHES FIRST NEW MOON COUNTDOWN FACEBOOK APPLICATION AS TEASER TO TWILIGHTOPIA.COM, A COMMUNITY SITE FOR TWILIGHT FANS
Boxwish Ltd (www.teamboxwish.com), the new media company behind movie inspiration site Boxwish.com has launched the first Facebook application countdown timer that counts the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on the 20th November. The countdown is a teaser to the launch of Twilightopia.com (www.twiligthopia.com)– a community site for twilight lovers.
The countdown timer is available via Facebook at http://apps.facebook.com/new_moon_countdown where Facebook fans can add it to their profile page or add it to their websites.
The countdown has a link to the Twilightopia.com site where fans can register their email address to be notified of the launch of the site. The countdown also has a link to Twilightopia.com’s Twitter page so tweeters can follow the site until (and after) the launch to receive Twilight news and fashion spots.
Twilight fans can already go to Boxwish.com to get the low down on fashion, gadgets and other products used in both Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon films, plus merchandise. However at Twilightopia.com fans can view these products at a destination totally dedicated to the screamingly popular saga where they can engage in quizzes, games, polls, competitions, forums, news, trailers, and a twitter feed aggregating twilight-related tweets on the site.
The site is due to launch in November before the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on November 20th 2009.
