Asian Earthquake Relief Concert at Wembley

The Brit-Asian Initiative (BAI) has brought together eight high-profile artists from Pakistan to play at a unique South Asia Relief Concert on Saturday 5 November at London’s Wembley Pavilion.
All profits from the concert will go to fund Oxfam and Islamic Relief UK’s work in the region affected by the earthquake.
Performers at event include the band Strings who were voted ‘favourite artist’ at the 2005 MTV Asia Music Awards, Jal, who are currently one of the most popular rock bands on the sub-continent and Haroon, one of the best known pop icons Pakistan has produced.
With 10,000 people expected to attend Wembley Arena Pavilion on Saturday 5 November, this is the first Pakistani concert of this magnitude to take place in the UK. The BAI is working with Oxfam and Islamic Relief with the objective of raising as much money as possible for those affected by the earthquake.
